The none-too imaginative British had the same badge for
all their minor West African possessions: Identical flags
were granted to Gambia and Sierra Leone, differing only
by having the initials "G." and "S.L.",
instead of "G.C."

Blue with two eagles holding
a disc looking like a shooting target with teuton cross
in the middle and a black star above. Over the emblem it
