Cross Country Tours

For the adventurous traveller wishing to experience an incredible variation of locations within one visit our Cross Country Tour is highly recommended. This tour run by a long established German family will enable you experience Africa from all angles.

Day 1:
Evening arrival in Accra transfer to Biriwa Beach Hotel.

Day 2 :
Tour discussion with day free to enjoy Biriwa Beach.

Tour to Elmina Castle & Kakum National Park.

Day 4:
Depart to Lake Bosomtwi in the Ashanti Region where we will spend the next two nights.

Day trip to Kumasi to see the Palace Museum and Kejetia Market.


Day 6:
Depart to Mole National Park with picnic lunch at Kintampo Waterfall.

Day 7:
Foot safari through Mole National Park.

Depart to Larabanga with visit to the mosque then continue to Tamale.

Day 9:
Depart towards Lake Volta passing through Salaga, the site of the famous trans-sahara slave
market and join the MV Yapei Queen on which we will spend the next 2 nights.
Day 10:
Sail down Volta Lake making a number of stops to pick up passengers and offload goods.
Day 11:
Arrive at Akosombo and continue to Accra with a stop at Aburi Botanical Gardens.

Day 12:
Spend the last morning touring Accra. Celebrate the experience with a fine dinner before departure to the airport.
